Arekibo have worked with the VHI on a number design related projects since 2004. Each project required a mix of strategic and design consulting skills.
In 2003, Arekibo were commissioned to undertake a Usability Audit and Site Review on the then VHI.ie and Vhihealthe.ie sites. The Vhi.ie site was the corporate site for the organisation and the Vhihealthe.ie was a health and lifestyle portal. Arekibo were asked to evaluate these sites and elicit user’s opinions for each of the sites. We were also asked to make recommendations to how these sites could be developed into the future. Arekibo delivered a report that recommended that the two sites were amalgamated into a single vhi.ie site that contained both corporate and health and lifestyle information. Following on from this report we worked with the VHI the eBusiness team to design a new online identity and site information hierarchy and structure for VHI.ie. The vhi.ie site provides an electronic gateway to a library of health, lifestyle and company information. The new website was launched at the end of 2003.
In 2006, Arekibo developed the Calorie Calculator http://caloriechecker.vhi.ie/ for the sites Health and Lifestyles area.

In February 2008 Arekibo completed a web analytics project on the VHI Website. Arekibo reviewed the data available in the website's log files to gather information on key metrics / key performance indicators for the website. The results of this evaluation will be used to develop a roadmap for the evolution and strategic direction of the website.
