AIB Corporate Banking is the largest provider of banking services to companies and large businesses in Ireland.
AIB's Corporate Banking Division required an innovative and exclusive online service to strengthen their corporate banking client relationships. By providing intelligent and pertinent information directly to their clients' desktops, AIB's new service aimed to become a key business resource for all Corporate Banking Clients.
Arekibo working with the Corporate Banking team develop an effective Internet strategy that would meet both internal and external requirements. A series of joint workshops were held with the organisation to plan the design and development of this service. Firstly an online Corporate Banking brand had to be developed that positioned the new site as relevant, and progressive. Secondly the services and information provided to the users had to be dynamic and useful to their daily business activities. A strategic blueprint was developed, outlining design concepts, functionality and the desired content, which focused on the fast delivery of real-time financial data.
The resulting AIB Corporate.ie is a dynamic, interactive and essential addition to AIB Corporate Banking services. The design respects AIB's identity and brand values but has an identity all of its own. Reuters and market feeds have been integrated into the site to provide up-to-date market data to all users that can be personalised by each user. The site contains a comprehensive library of market research and commentary from leading Irish and International organisations. The site is a testament to AIB’s commitment to using the internet to strengthen their existing business relationships and provide business critical information to their customers.
