The Office of Tobacco Control (OTC) is a statutory body established by the Irish government to assist them in the implementation of policies outlined in the report 'Towards a Tobacco Free Society' published in 2000.
Why did the Office of Tobacco Control choose Arekibo?
Arekibo were commissioned to design, develop and host a new website for the OTC. The site needed to communicate a large amount of information to a varied audience and therefore it was vital the interface was appealing and intuitive. A strong emphasis was given to the key topics in the debate on the smoking ban and often complicated and extensive legislation coming into law. The site design focused on the positive aspects of a smoke free society, therefore the design has to create positive feelings and intentions about the topic of a smokeless environment.
End Results
Underpinning the site is the Arekibo's Content Management System that enables the OTC to manage their site completely and with ease. Arekibo are continually working with the OTC to progress and enhance the website.
