Sitefinity named a leader in G2 2020 report

Every great digital experience is underpinned by a well selected technology, be it a portal, content management system or digital experience platform (DXP). Every site has a different set of requirements, which makes choosing the right technology that suits you and your needs the best crucial.

G2 has recently published their annual Mid-Market Grid® Report for Digital Experience Platforms for fall 2020. This report represents the democratic voice of real software users, rather than the subjective opinion of one analyst. All DXPs were evaluated based on customer satisfaction and user-friendliness, and market presence.

We were delighted to see our technology partners – Sitefinity, Kentico and Sitecore score highly in that unbiased review. In this article we are going to delve a little deeper into the report results for each DXP.

Sitefinity

Progress Sitefinity has been named a Leader based on receiving a high customer Satisfaction score and having a large Market Presence. 82% of users rated it 4 or 5 stars, 75% of users believe it is headed in the right direction, and users said they would be likely to recommend Progress Sitefinity at a rate of 75%.

3 of the highest rated features of Sitefinity DXP include: customizable templated workflows, web analytics and self-service capabilities.

Sitecore

Sitecore Experience Platform has been named a Contender product based on having a slightly lower customer Satisfaction score and large Market Presence compared to the rest of the category. Nevertheless, 89% of users rated it 4 or 5 stars, 92% of users believe it is headed in the right direction, and users said they would be likely to recommend Sitecore at a rate of 81%.

The top 3 strengths of Sitecore are: high self-service capability, great asset management and no-code app development.
