Introduction

3Ts (Turn the Tide of Suicide) is an Irish charity dedicated to preventing deaths by suicide through education, research, and support. Founded in 2003, 3Ts provides a safe space for individuals seeking information and assistance on mental health and suicide-related concerns.  

Our partnership began with 3Ts in 2013, and we have collaborated since.

Building Awareness

The objectives of the website were to offer clear and comprehensive resources on mental health issues, including suicide, self-harm, depression, anxiety, and more. To simplify the navigation to crisis helplines, specialist support services, and urgent help resources. Encourage community involvement through fundraising, events, and partnerships. Raise awareness about suicide prevention and mental health through educational content and advocacy initiatives.

We conducted user research to understand the needs of individuals seeking mental health support, ensuring the website’s design is empathetic and accessible. We developed a clear, straightforward menu structure to make it easy to find information on mental health concerns, support services, and ways to get involved. Developed dedicated sections for various mental health topics, each containing self-help guides, videos, and comprehensive listings of crisis helplines and specialist support services.

We implemented Sitefinity to allow 3T staff to easily update content, post news, and manage events without technical assistance. Sitefinity empowers staff to manage website content efficiently, ensuring information remains current and relevant, and supporting everyone who needs guidance. Find out more about our CSR work.
