Our Experience Design Services
We take a customer-first approach to every engagement. That means starting with real user research, validating assumptions through testing, and building digital experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and built to perform.
Good design is only as effective as the platform it runs on. Our experience design team works alongside our platform specialists to inform platform selection and define the requirements for your platform build, so the experience we design is one your team can actually deliver, manage and evolve.
Once live, we continue to support the ongoing development and enhancement of your digital services through ArekiboCare, our managed service for digital platforms.

FAQs on our experience design credentials
What experience design services does Arekibo provide?
We provide a full range of experience design services, including UX design, UI design, user testing and usability research, information architecture, prototyping and wireframing, web design, accessibility, and design systems. Services are available as standalone engagements or as part of an end-to-end design programme.
What industries do you work in?
We work with enterprise, government, public sector, healthcare, financial services, education, utilities and life sciences organisations. Clients include BNP Paribas, KPMG, ESB Group, Electric Ireland, Mater Private Network, Dublin Airport, RCSI and the Road Safety Authority. See more on our industry experience.
Where are your experience design clients based?
Across Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA. We work remotely and on-site, depending on the project and client preference. See more about work and customer partnership experience.
How long has Arekibo been providing UX and experience design services?
Over 20 years. We've been designing digital experiences since 2002, working with some of Ireland's largest organisations across every major sector. Our first major UX project was to redesign AOL.com for their global redesign.
Do you design accessible websites?
Yes. Accessibility is embedded in our design process from the outset, not bolted on at the end. We design and develop to WCAG 2.2 AA standards and have 20 years of experience delivering accessible digital services for public sector, healthcare and enterprise organisations. We also provide accessibility audits, remediation and training. Find out more about our web accessibility services.
Do you work with existing platforms and CMS systems?
Yes. We work across all major CMS and DXP platforms, including Sitefinity, Sitecore, Kentico, Optimizely and WordPress. Our experience design work integrates with your existing platform rather than requiring you to change it.
What is a design system, and do I need one?
A design system is a collection of reusable components, guidelines and standards for creating consistent, scalable digital products. If your organisation manages multiple digital products or has multiple teams working on the same platform, a design system reduces duplication, speeds up delivery and ensures brand consistency across every touchpoint. Find out more about our design systems service.
Can you provide UX and Design resources to join our existing business and technology teams?
Yes. We have been doing this since our first major UX engagement with AOL. Our teams regularly join our clients' teams to support customer research, business requirements, information architecture, UI and UX design, user testing and design system creation and rollout. Customers include AON, BNP Paribas, and ESB Group.
