G2 2021: Sitefinity named a leading DXP enterprise solution

What is a DXP?

Digital experience platforms (DXPs) are composed of an integrated set of core technologies that support the creation, management, and delivery of omnichannel digital experiences.

DXPs help organizations leverage customer data in marketing channels such as websites, social media platforms, advertisements, and customer touchpoints such as customer service, e-commerce platforms, and so on. DXPs are primarily used by marketers to incorporate customer data into multiple steps of the customer journey. The deep feature set of DXPs allows marketers to orchestrate personalized experiences across multiple channels and touchpoints.

G2 product implementation score

A product's Implementation score is calculated by a proprietary algorithm that factors in real-user satisfaction ratings for a number of implementation-related review questions. Software buyers can compare products in the Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) category according to their Implementation scores to streamline the buying process and quickly identify the most easily implemented products based on the experiences of their peers. For sellers, media, investors, and analysts, the Index provides benchmarks for product comparison and market trend analysis.

Badges are awarded to products for: Most Implementable (highest implementation score), Highest User Adoption (highest overall user adoption score), Fastest Implementation (shortest go-live time), and Easiest Setup (highest ease of setup score).

Products included in the Implementation Index for Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) Summer 2021 have received both a minimum of 10 reviews and 5 responses from real users for each of the implementation-related questions featured in the review form by June 01, 2021. These ratings may change as the products are further developed, the sellers grow, and as additional opinions are shared by users, and a new Implementation Index report will be issued for this category as significant data is collected.

To qualify for inclusion in the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) category, a product must:

  • Provide content management and media storage capabilities
  • Facilitate the rapid development of websites, portals, or applications
  • Connect customer data with digital media through the use of APIs
  • Allow for personalization of digital content through the use of customer data
  • Provide analytics tool to measure content performance and user experience
